THE PHILOSOPHY

Our mission at Physique Academy is to provide you with the physical and mental tools, to overcome the setbacks and obstacles that life throws at you. This will allow you to discover what true greatness and potential lives within you.

The core philosophy of Physique Academy is to strive to help people become fitter and healthier both mentally and physically. Overall Physique Academy is focussed on helping you to become the best version of yourself; building better habits, discipline, and drive to overcome all obstacles in life. The best version of you will not only enable you to live the best life possible but will also allow you to provide the best life to the people around you.

Physique Academy was built on the foundations of mental health and physical health. There is huge importance in thinking positively, performing well, and looking good. Interior confidence is of equal importance to exterior confidence. Health requires a healthy body and a healthy mind. Therefore, at Physique Academy we see the importance of pursuing your greatest physical and mental ability.

Physique Academy prioritises creating a holistic approach to fitness - focussing on three key pillars: training, nutrition, and mindset. Together we seek to work hard to better ourselves internally and externally whilst helping others around us to make the world a better place.

TRAINING

Training is one of the most important things you can do for your health - both mental and physical. Fitness training can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease whilst strengthening your bones and muscles, and improving your ability to complete everyday activities. Training provides you with purpose, discipline, and self-respect. It enables you to protect your health, progress your abilities and overcome adversity both within your chosen discipline and in general life.

At Physique Academy we have both experienced the benefits of training individually and seen how training has improved the lives of others. It is at the core of our mission to continue to empower people and improve their lives through training.

NUTRITION

Nutrition determines what you become - much more than simply your size and shape. You become what you consume, making it important to prioritise a healthy diet. Physique Academy promotes a balanced approach to nutrition, allowing you to reach your physique goals, perform optimally, maintain your health, and remain social and happy. Nutrition is not about restriction or reducing enjoyable aspects of diet. It is about forming a healthy relationship with what you consume to give you the best results both physically and mentally, allowing you to attain the potential you seek or reach your goals.

At Physique Academy we seek to empower and educate you to understand what your body and mind wants and needs, helping you to transform into your best physical and mental shape whilst performing at your highest level.

MINDSET

Mindset underlies all aspects of life. A body cannot be healthy unless it has the foundation of a healthy mind. There are five key elements to overall mental wellness;

Physical health - Emotional health - Social health - Spiritual health -Intellectual health

All these elements are interlinked, having significant impact on each other. It is important to strike a balance between each element to optimise your mental health. Your mindset determines who you are, what you do, where you go and what you become. Therefore, it is hugely important to prioritise these key elements to build your foundation of becoming the best version of yourself.

At Physique Academy mindset and mental health underlies all our actions. We strike a balance between psychological health and physical health to promote a holistic approach to fitness.
