Congratulations to our latest client of the month. Greg joined Physique Academy because he had gotten to a point where he was fed up with his yo-yo approach to losing and gaining weight. He spent many years trying out different methods, but he could not keep it off.

Greg knew that he needed a fully tailored, dedicated program in place with full 1-1 accountability. Based on what he had seen through other Physique Academy transformations, he knew he had to join and see what he could do for himself.

The initial goal was to strip away body fat, and then start to build muscle and strength once we felt that he had got to a level of body fat that was much more sustainable and we were happy with. We achieved phenomenal results, and Greg is undoubtedly in the healthiest position he has ever been in.

Additionally, his long-term health was very central to his goals, and we have made massive improvements due to increased activity levels and a nutritious diet plan including the foods he loves.

Nutrition wise, he has been provided with the education and tools to be much more informed in his decision making, now he has gained control over a bad overeating habit which he suffered from before joining Physique Academy.

Greg went from not being able to run 1KM to now competing in a half marathon event showing that 1 decision can be life changing. Unbelievable work man, let’s see what we can do in the next phase.

Why did you join Physique Academy?

“I joined Physique Academy because I had gotten to a point where I was fed up with my yo-yo approach to losing and gaining weight. I spent many years trying out different things, many of which had worked, until they didn't. I was able to lose weight on many occasions, but I simply could not keep it off. I knew that I needed a fully tailored, dedicated program in place with full 1-1 accountability also. Based on what I had seen through other Physique Academy transformations, I knew I had to join and see what I could do for myself. The various before/after pictures and client testimonials I saw really encouraged me to believe that I would get the proper education on what a sustainable lifestyle would look like, as well as a lifestyle where I could continuously improve and make decisions that were best for me. I was absolutely ready to take massive action to change my life, and I knew that Physique Academy was the place to start.”

What have you achieved both physically and personally since joining the academy?

"Physically, I am undoubtedly in the healthiest position I have ever been in. Also, my long-term health was very central to my goals, and I feel that I have made massive improvements there. I feel like I am stronger than I ever have been before, while also carrying much less body fat.

Personally, I really have developed a new found passion for continuously improving my health and fitness, as well as being in a much better place mentally. Working with Jamie and Physique Academy has really opened my eyes to the power of tiny gains, and focusing on improvements in all aspects of my life. I can safely say that every single part of my life has improved dramatically in the last year, and I have Jamie and the rest of the Physique Academy team to thank for that!"

What is your ultimate fitness goal?

My ultimate fitness goal is to honestly find a sustainable lifestyle where I can both enjoy myself and continuously improve. I may push my boundaries further and enter a Full Marathon in the near future!

In what other areas of your life has Physique Academy helped you improve?

"As mentioned above, my fitness transformation has caused me to take the same approach of prioritizing continuous gains and improvements in all aspects of my life. Jamie and Physique Academy has been much more than a means of improving my physical fitness, as I have seen massive improvements in all areas of life."

Would you recommend Physique Academy?

“Without a doubt. Physique Academy is the only program I have ever been involved in that has stuck with me, and keeps me excited for the next stage of progression and improvements in my life.”

What gets you motivated to complete the programme to best of your ability?

“The number one driver and reason why I found success is because there is nothing I dread about the programme whatsoever! Being able to finally see progress without depriving myself has made the execution of the programme not only simple, but enjoyable. Motivation comes naturally when you feel like the results are coming with a sustainable lifestyle.”

Is there something fitness related you can do now you couldn’t do before joining Physique Academy?

"Definitely - I think my new found interest in Outdoor Running is the best example I can give here. Even 6 months into my time with Physique Academy, I had never been able to run more than 1KM continuously without giving up. Jamie pushed me to take on a new challenge - and assured me that running was in fact something I was capable of doing. Now, I regularly go on Outdoor Runs, and find them incredibly enjoyable. I'm even taking part in a Half-Marathon this weekend, something which I genuinely thought I could never aspire to do, even with all the time in the world."

How important is a routine for you?

“Extremely important. Once I know that something brings the results that I want, I absolutely need to be able to stick by that and know that I’m doing what needs to be done. Even in times when I had to go off programme for various occasions, knowing that I had a routine to fall back into was extremely important to my ability to jump back in and continue down the path to success!”

What has been your highlight of working with Physique Academy?

“The highlight of working with Physique Academy for me has been the amazing level of education held by all of the coaches, as well as the debunking of myths which I found myself believing in when I first joined. There is an incredible amount of false information floating around in relation to all-things fitness, from ridiculous restrictions in nutrition, to completely nonsensical training programs. Jamie and the other coaches at Physique Academy are firm believers in educating people the right way, and establishing a tailored, sustainable lifestyle for every single client. I really couldn't believe that I was able to lose as much body fat as I did, while also still eating my favourite food every single day. It has been really eye-opening to me that my nutrition choices can be both beneficial and enjoyable, something which I believed was absolutely impossible. The hardest thing about this entire process for me, has been not doing it sooner in my life."

What’s next on your fitness journey?

“Now that I’ve finally been able to shed this much body fat, I’m really looking forward to the reverse dieting process in order to add some muscle back on. I’m very excited for the extra calories and change in my training routine!”
