Congratulations to our November transformation of the month, Jason Wilson. Jason is a busy father of 3 who transformed his fitness at 44, proving age is just a number and "being busy" is just an excuse. Between juggling work, family life, and three kids' schedules, Jason had every reason to skip the gym. Working with Coach Felix, Jason didn't just lose weight - he completely ramped up his performance too. In just 5 months, he dropped from 170lbs to 145lbs. His cardiovascular endurance skyrocketed, allowing him to keep up with his kids during MMA sessions. Plus, when you lose 14.7% of your bodyweight, kicks hit differently. He's diving into Phase 2, focused on building lean mass and power for his Muay Thai kicks.

 

When did you join the Physique Academy?

May of 2024.

 

Why did you join Physique Academy?

I wanted to improve my endurance in MMA training and get control of my physique. I have been active and into weightlifting for over 20 years, but only once in my life pushed myself to single digit bodyfat. My ultimate goal is to get to around 165 pounds at around 10% Bodyfat long term and sustainable.

What have you achieved both physically and personally since joining the academy?

Gotten to be the leanest I've ever been and have significantly improved my endurance in MMA sessions. 

 

What is your ultimate fitness goal?

165 -170 pounds at around 10% bodyfat long term sustainable.

In what other areas of your life has Physique Academy helped you improve?

Definitely helped me stay aware of my daily nutrition intake and I continue tracking all my daily food intake religiously despite being out of phase 1.

Would you recommend Physique Academy?

Yes, absolutely, especially my trainer Felix.

What gets you motivated to complete the programme to best of your ability?

Feeling great and looking great are both huge benefits. But Felix also helps keep me motivated to hit my goals, and it's great to hear his positive encouragement.

Is there something fitness related you can do now you couldn’t do before joining Physique Academy?

Only dropped to single digit bodyfat once my entire life!

How important is a routine for you?

Very important, especially when it comes to diet.

What has been your highlight of working with Physique Academy?

The accountability to track my food intake, but also meeting Felix who I not only consider my trainer but a friend.

What’s next on your fitness journey?

Phase 2, gaining some mass this wintertime after my visit with my family is done in December!
